Water Fun
While I was at work the other day Addie took full advantage of Andrew while he was busy talking to some people who had come over to our house. She was sitting on the counter and proceeded to play in the kitchen sink filling up the bowls and dumping water all over the counter and herself. (Addie loves to wear her pajamas all day long now and if she is dressed she asks for her pajamas to be put back on usually in the early afternoon.)I also thought this picture was pretty cute of Andrew and Addie sleeping after church last Sunday.

Spring Break, Part 3
My other sister and her family also came here for spring break this weekend. We could only spend one day together, but we sure had a lot of fun. While the boys went golfing, the girls went hiking to Red Cliffs Recreation Area (along with half of St. George, I think). It was a good hike and Addie loved being with her cousins. She only wanted to hold Aunt Karine's hand, or one of her cousin's hands, not mine. Addie was more interested in picking up rocks and throwing them in the bushes or the stream. At the end of the hike we took a fruit snack break and watched all the other hikers jump in the water or try to capture frogs, it was entertaining. After hiking and golfing, we needed to cool off so we headed over to the Washington Rec Center to do some swimming. Addie loves to go swimming and she loves to go down the blue slide. She was so excited when her cousins went down with her. After swimming we had a tasty BBQ and played some Big Brain Academy on the Wii to test our knowledge. We are so glad to have had so many visitors in the last week and enjoyed every minute of it. I have a feeling we are going to be bored tomorrow morning.
Spring Break, Part 2
Our good friends came to visit us Friday night during their spring break. Andrew and Garth went to high school together, then we were all at Utah State together. We had a good time catching up on the past few years and letting our kids play together. Andrew and Garth had to play Blitz on Nintendo, boys will always be boys. Don't worry though, Becca and I had our fun playing Hannah Montana. We are so glad they stopped by, what a fun night.
Spring Break
I know we don't go to school, but Addie's cousins do and this week was their spring break. My parents came to visit and one of Addie's cousins, Jorgen, stayed a few extra days to play. When my parents got here and before my sister and her family left we all met at Chuck-a-Rama for a hearty meal. Then Addie and Jorgen went swimming at the hotel, I didn't take my camera though, but it was fun.On Tuesday we walked around the St. George Temple, went swimming before the weather turned cold, and walked around downtown St. George.Addie and Jorgen had a lot of fun playing together. Addie wanted to do whatever Jorgen was doing and that usually meant stealing his toys. For some reason Addie thought she could wrestle Jorgen and one night Jorgen was nice enough to oblige as they wrestled for about 20 minutes, it was pretty funny to watch. We were sad to have our visitors leave on Thursday and were glad for all the fun times we had.
Happy Easter
I know this post is a week late, but whatever. Addie was so excited Easter morning. She thought all of the baskets were hers and kept carrying them all around the house. I think she had candy for all three meals today, opps. It was fun to get her all dressed up in her new Easter dress. Our good friends had us over for a super yummy dinner and an egg hunt. It was so much fun and sometimes I still dream of the good food.
Easter Weekend
We have had so much fun this past week with our families coming to visit us. I am behind in my posts so now I will play catch up. Last weekend to kick off Easter weekend, my sister and her family came to visit us. Addie loved playing with her cousins. We decorated Easter eggs. It was Addie's first time and she enjoyed putting the egg in the dye and coloring on the egg with crayons. She still asks to color eggs sometimes.Addie's other cousin from Arizona also came to visit this weekend. We decorated some more eggs and had fun playing with Owen and Addie's cousins that live here.On Saturday morning our friends hosted an Easter egg hunt in the neighborhood. This was also Addie's first egg hunt and she loved picking up the candy and eggs and filling her basket.

St. George Temple
Addie loves to talk about going to the St. George Temple and so we decided for FHE on Monday we would take her there. She loves to go up and down the stairs and jump on the green boxes on the grass. The sprinklers were on and she couldn't resist the temptation to play in the water. It was a fun night and perfect weather, we sure love living here this time of year!

Addie-isms
When we put Addie to bed at night she usually has to escape at least a few times before finally settling down for the night. The other night Andrew was going to do some work on the laptop on the couch and he had it all set up, but went to the other room to get something. We had just put Addie to bed and he came out to find her with her babies all ready to help him work on the couch.Addie finally got another haircut, her second, the other day. I wanted to do a before and after picture, but she wouldn't cooperate with the before picture.I'm not sure the after picture was the best either, but I thought it was funny how she was once again wearing her sunglasses waiting to be served her dinner.Lately Addie won't take naps at an ideal time-1:00 pm-she likes to wait until 4:00 or 5:00 to fall asleep, which makes for super late nights. I was doing my best today to keep her awake and as we were watching "American Idol" I look over and find her sound asleep on the couch. Looks like a late night yet again...
