Happy Halloween

Last night we had our ward trunk or treat and chili cook-off. We had a lot of fun mingling with our friends and having some tasty chili and cornbread. Addie loved running around the parking lot and playing with her friends. Her costume was to be an elephant, but it was so warm last night she kept taking off the top half, so she was half an elephant. Andrew was Napolean Dynamite, he does have a mask but somehow it didn't make it in the picture. I was a witch, obviously. We hope you all have a Happy Halloween and eat lots of yummy treats :)

Annual Pumpkin Carving

Every year since we have been married we have tried have friends over to carve pumpkins. This year was no exception. We waited to the last minute to pick out our pumpkins though and got the bottom of the barrel. It just gives our pumpkins more character to have random scars on them.
Addie loved having her friends over to play, she even tried to go home with them.
Addie loves her friend Maddie so much - they were giving each other hugs and kisses.

My Little Helper

Lately Addie wants to help me make whatever I am cooking. The other day I was making cupcakes and she pulled the chair over to stand on so she could reach the counter. She knows how to crack the eggs on the side of the bowl, and she enjoys dumping the other ingredients in as I hand them to her. Addie likes eating the finished product also, but mostly just the frosting on top of the cupcake.

4th Picture Tag

Here goes another tag, but I think this one is fun, not that the others aren't, but I liked this one because it is easy.

Go to your pictures folder, go to the 4th folder, and get the 4th picture in that folder! Then tag 4 more people....

4 people I tag: Becca G., Cookie, Darice, Laura W.

This picture was taken in Logan in 2004 and it is the baby of our friend's, the Gag Nears :)

Staheli Farm Fun

This past weekend we went to Staheli Farms with some friends to check out the petting zoo and pumpkin patch. There is also a corn maze there, but with the little kids we opted not to venture there. The pumpkin patch was nowhere to be found either, so that left the petting zoo, a fun slide, and some horse swings. It was freezing outside, I know strange for St. George, but we survived. Addie loved seeing all the animals, and going down the slide, but her absolute favorite was the horse swings. She kept holding on and rocking it back and forth saying "giddy-up". When we were all frozen to the bone we decided it was time to leave, but Addie wanted nothing to do with that. She cried her eyes out as we took her off the swing and she just kept saying "again again" and "no no no don't want to go". It was really cute and we would've stayed had it been just a bit warmer.

Red Cliffs Hike

Last night we went with Andrew's sister and her family to the Red Cliffs recreation area for a little hike. The weather was perfect and it was fun to get outside. Addie loved running around and throwing rocks in the dirty pond water at the end of the hike with her cousin Kalea.
