Addie's Favorites

Some of Addie's favorite things to do are:
Get out her mini broom and help sweep the floor. Recently she has had a fascination with wearing gloves. I wish I had a picture of the latest, she loves to wear socks and then put her flip flops on over socks. She insisted on wearing this sock/flip-flop attire the other day to the store, I have never had so many people give me sympathetic smiles before, it was pretty funny.
Addie loves to climb on her changing table and pull out all of the wipes. She loves to clean her arms, legs, face and then clean her baby dolls too.
Addie loves to play in the cupboard under the bathroom sink while I am getting ready in the mornings. She has a bunch of toys under there and a little lantern so she can close the door and play in her "secret hideout".
Addie LOVES to wear shoes all day long and it doesn't matter whose shoes she wears. One of her favorites is flip-flops.

A Day at the Lake

My friend Laura and her little girl Maddie, Addie, and I went to Sand Hollow Lake for some fun in the sun. The girls had so much fun playing in the sand and in the water. It was the perfect day as the weather was so nice and after the initial chill of the water it was pleasant also. We were the only ones at the lake, besides a ton of ducks and buzzing bugs. After all the time in the sun, Addie was tuckered out and ready to relax in the chair.

Golfing at Sand Hollow

Andrew was invited to go golfing at Sand Hollow Resort yesterday with our friend in the ward, Bruce Gordon. This is a new course down here and he has been excited to play it. Apparently it is equivalent to a championship course and the nicest one he has ever played. While he was golfing Addie and I went shopping at the mall, how nice for us to all be doing our favortie things at once.

Six Years

On Wednesday Andrew and I celebrated our sixth anniversary Vegas style. Andrew's Mom was kind enough to come down and watch Addie for us while we went to Vegas for a night. We went shopping at the Outlet stores, went to lunch at Cheesecake Factory, went to our favorite stores - Coca-Cola Store and the M&M Store, and then went to our hotel. We stayed at South Point Hotel which is about 8 miles south of the strip. The hotel had a movie theater and a bowling alley in it. After we checked in we went swimming in the sweet pool, then we went to a movie. We waited up until midnight to go bowling, because it was only $1.00 a game starting at midnight. We bowled three games, I won two out of three. We forgot that people in Vegas never sleep and the bowling alley was pratically full. The next day we just did a little shopping and then headed back home. We had a fun anniversary and are so grateful Andrew's Mom could help us out with Addie.
