Eight Months

Izze is growing up right before our eyes! She wants to crawl so bad and gets frustrated because she can't figure out how to; she has the position down but needs to figure out the moving part. Yesterday she started clapping her hands, so fun. Izze loves to talk and wants to be heard usually during the quiet times of church. She lights up when Addie is in the room and loves to play with her. Andrew is already teaching her how to wrestle and she is growing more hair! If anyone is eating then she demands to be fed something, we love our little Izze.

Dress Up

Lately Addie loves to dress up in her princess dress or anything she can find and play in her pretend world. It is so fun to listen to the things she makes up, mostly she reenacts "Dora" or "Super Why", just today she was Diego and when I told her it was time to fix her hair she said, "I don't have hair because I am Diego." She loves to act as though she is the mother and is constantly taking care of Izze, sometimes it is more hurtful than helpful.

Zoo Days

We have made it to the zoo twice so far this year and we love it! Addie and Izze love seeing all the animals, we also enjoy being outside in the sunshine. Addie loved riding the carousel and playing with her friends.

Temple Square

Last week we took a trip on trax to Temple Square for a little outing while my sister and her family were in town. Addie loved running around and had to resist the urge to jump in the fountains or touch the water. We enjoyed the nice weather and also watching all the construction going on across from Temple Square.

Sledding Fun

Since we have moved here we have wanted to go sledding, we finally made it happen. We borrowed some sleds and went up Big Cottonwood Canyon last weekend. Addie absolutely loved it and didn't want to go home. She went down all by herself and even hiked back up the hill several times (usually she complains of her legs hurting if she has to exert herself). Izze even enjoyed sitting in the snow, as we were walking to the hill it was windy and she kept getting the biggest smile on her face. We hope to go again before all the snow melts, I'm pretty sure we'll make it.The weekend before we took a drive to find a sledding spot and Addie was still in her pajamas. I just love these pictures and wanted to remember them.
