It's Open!

In-N-Out opened yesterday and it is so exciting. We decided to venture there today for dinner. The place was packed, but they had so many employees there, it didn't take long to order or get our food. Behind the counter employees were shoulder to shoulder, it was funny to see. Addie loved all of the food, the strawberry shake being her favorite. She has to hold the cup on her own and if we try to take it away she swats at our hands and gives us a mean look. I would too if someone tried to take away such a yummy shake.

Hiking the Narrows

Last weekend my sister and her family were here to visit for their spring break. We had a lot of fun hanging out, swimming, and exploring Pioneer Park. I kept forgetting to take the camera with me and then when we did have the camera we only got pictures of us, what a bust. Over by Pioneer Park (which is on top of the red rocks above downtown St. George) there is a place called the Narrows as shown in the picture below: You hike through the crack in the rocks, not kidding. Andrew and I did this when we were first married and I vowed never to do it again. We wanted my sister's kids to have the opportunity though. I considered going again until I got up to it again and then the memories came flooding back and I turned around, plus I had to watch Addie. I think everyone had a good time those who made it through. Addie had so much fun just exploring and climbing everywhere. She has no fear or probably no concept of heights.

Daddy Time

This is a bit late but last weekend Andrew took Addie to Phoenix to visit his sisters and nephew. Andrew was jealous of all the trips I had taken Addie on and he wanted to take her somewhere. I had no complaints and encouraged him to book a trip as soon as possible. I thoroughly enjoyed time to myself, I haven't had that since before Addie was born.

Andrew and Addie had a lot of fun going to the park, going to the mall, eating yummy food, and just hanging out with family. Katie has a dog that scared Addie in the beginning, but by the end of the trip Addie wamed up to him. Addie especially loved having easy access to the backyard via the doggie door.

Helmet Head

Andrew's sister, Karma, came over today and brought some things Kalea (who is 18 months older than Addie) has out grown. Among the items was a bike helmet, I figured it wouldn't fit Addie, but she demanded that I put it on her head. Addie proceeded to walk around the house with the helmet on and thought she was hot stuff. We also bought a lounge chair for the backyard the other day. It has yet to make it to the backyard and now it is Addie's favorite chair. She will lay on it to read her books and watch television. She also thinks it is a toy as she likes to walk on it and roll off the ends.
