Last weekend we went camping with some of our friends in Cedar Canyon at Te-Ah Campground. Addie loved being outdoors and being able to play in the dirt. Within the first hour we were there she managed to fall down the cement steps leading up to the campground. The outcome was a big scrape under her eye and on her cheek, but it sure didn't deter her from going back to the steps. It was so nice and cool up there, we actually wore long sleeve shirts almost the whole time. It rained on us also, which was fun, but made for a messy clean up when we left.
Addie loved playing with her friend Maddie. In the mornings when she woke up and heard Maddie she would say "Maddie" and get so excited to go play. She also had fun looking at Rue, our friend's dog, from a distance. She is still leery of big dogs or dogs in general, but she wasn't so scared by the end of the trip. Our camera battery died on Saturday and so I don't have too many pictures to share. We had a fun time camping and can't wait to go again.

I totally understand about the tripping - Lily couldn't stay on her feet when we went camping recently. Reapeating what Cookie said up there, we should come down there and try a camping trip with you guys and them next summer. That would be so fun! We miss you guys!
That just shocks me that there is a place to camp around St. George that you had to wear long sleeve shirts! I have been watching your triple digit temperatures on the news. I think that every kid experiences at least one fall camping in the outdoors! Looks like a lot of fun.
We haven't tried the camping with the boys yet, I think next year for sure. We need you guys around here to convince us to do stuff like this.

What a fun camping trip!! I am so sad that we haven't made it out on one yet this year. I am running out of time...ahhh!! What cute little girl that Addie is!!!
