Random Times

Not a whole lot has been going on lately and so I will just post some random pictures of things Addie has been doing. The other day as I was doing the laundry I turned around to see Addie laying in my laundry basket. Normally she likes to help put the laundry in the washer or she likes to push the basket around, but this was a whole new one and I thought it was pretty funny.

Andrew was going through his mission stuff the other night and found his "yo caps". Addie loves to wear one around the house, she thinks it's cool. I think she looks like a swimmer.

Addie also loves to be outside constantly. She was a big help to Andrew the other day as he washed the cars.

Addie also loves to read books. It is fun to hear her read them to herself in her own little language.

San Diego

Last week we took a trip to San Diego for a few days. Even though the weather was a bit chilly we still managed to have a lot of fun and even make it to a few beaches. We went to an old war museum where they had all the old planes on display and a little one for Addie to sit in, she loved turning the handles and thought it was cool.

Addie was on her own eating schedule, she never wanted to eat when we did and so we were forced to get her a kid's meal at McDonalds which she ate in the car and managed to get it just about everywhere.

We went to Mission Beach in the afternoon one day and it was so cold, but we still wanted to walk on the beach. Addie was so excited to go near the water and she ran right into the waves. She quickly turned around though and ran back, because it was so cold. We were both soaked by then and shivering, but it was fun.

We walked down by the Harbor and saw all of the boats and ships. We also went to Seaport Village where we enjoyed looking at all the tourist shops.

On our last day there the sun finally came out and we went to Coronado Beach. It was pretty and the sand was so nice. Addie loved playing in the sand and being buried in it. She was a bit leary about the water this time though, she only went in after much coaxing and did not stay long this time. We ate dinner at a fun diner that night in Coronado. We really enjoyed San Diego!
