Kindergarten

Addie is officially in kindergarten at Wallin Elementary!  She is so excited to be a Wallin Wildcat.  After we dropped her off yesterday, Izze said "we forgot Addie".  It was so cute and funny.  Izze asks a few times each morning where Addie is and when is she coming home.

Number 3

Last weekend we celebrated Izze's third birthday!  She was super excited and loves to tell everyone she is 3 now, sometimes she even likes to say she is 10 or 5 like Addie, but most days she is 3.  We went to St. George for the weekend and spent some time with Andrew's family as well.  Izze did all the things she loves for her birthday, we went swimming, she got a slip-n-slide, ate hot dogs, and the frosting on the cupcakes.  Addie was so cute to call her the "birthday girl" all weekend.

Impromptu Trip

A few weeks ago we packed our bags and made the trek to see my family in SLC.  We had to fill up with gas first, as I was finishing up Addie asked, "are we there yet?" and I just had to laugh and told her we hadn't even started!  Needless to say it was a bit of a long drive as she continued to ask how much longer every hour or less.  Addie and Izze were super excited to see their cousins that we haven't seen in a while.   It was a quick trip and we packed a lot in, wish we had a few more days to see everyone we missed though!

Independence Day

We celebrated our Independence Day by staying at a hotel so we could go swimming and pretend to be on vacation :)  The only picture I took was of the girls watching the iPad before bed and Izze had just fallen asleep.  We also had a BBQ with some of our friends and did fireworks.  It rained most of the afternoon and the weather was very pleasant for fireworks. 

Oh what do you do ...

in the summertime?  Well, so far we have sold our tent trailer and our Trooper, played dress up, bought a more gas efficient car, swam A LOT (no pictures though), and consumed quite a few slurpees.

Happy Birthday!

For my birthday a couple of weeks ago, Andrew and the girls went all out and decorated it in a Hawaiian/Luau theme.  I went running in the morning and when I got back the house had been transformed, it was so fun to see what they had done.  The girls were excited and had their grass skirts and leis around their necks.  We had a fun day going to a movie, lunch, and shopping - all of my favorite things to do!

Dance Picture Day

Addie has been taking a dance class since we moved to Vegas.  It started as tap/ballet and has now turned into just ballet.  Her recital is coming up this weekend, but a few weeks ago she had dance pictures.  Addie was so excited to dress up in her costume.
