Three Years Old

Happy Birthday Addie! We can't believe you are three years old, we are so glad you are part of our family.

We had a fun Princess Party with your friends today and everyone looked so cute in their princess dresses. We played some fun princess games, had a little tea party, sang "Happy Birthday" to you, ate cupcakes (or at least the frosting), and opened some fun presents. We are so glad so many of your friends could come to the party, it was so much fun.

My good friend Laura made your cute cupcake cake with fancy frosting and everything. We sure are grateful for her wonderful skills!

We had to keep the tradition and go to Pizza Factory for your #3 pizza.

For Sale

Happy Halloween

We have had some fun Halloween activities this past week. We did the annual decorating of the pumpkins with a bunch of our friends. The kids had so much fun running around and playing together while the adults carved the pumpkins.Tonight we had our ward trunk or treat. Addie had so much fun running around in her princess dress. Izze enjoyed hanging out in the stroller. Addie and Maddie had so much fun playing and sharing the candy. They sure were tuckered out by the end though.

Three Months

Another month has come and gone so fast, Izze is now three months old! Just this week she has started sleeping through the night, well 11 pm - 6 or 7 am, I consider that sleeping through the night. Izze also loves to smile whenever you look at her or talk to her, she is already social just like her sister. Yesterday Addie got her to laugh a little and it was so cute. A random story: Tonight as we were driving home Addie said "rapido Daddy rapido", I guess "Dora" is teaching her something.

Fall Fun

Last weekend my sister and her family came to visit us. Addie was so excited and couldn't wait for her cousins to get here. We had fun eating food, touring downtown St. George, shopping, playing the Wii, decorating cookies, and the boys went golfing. Addie had a contest with herself to see how many sprinkles she could put on the cookies, I think she dumped the entire container on one cookie.A few years ago when I was pregnant with Addie we also decorated cookies and thought it would be fun to put candy corns up our noses and take a picture. We wanted to do it again because it was so fun. I thought I had a picture from a couple years ago, but I can't find it so my sister must have it, but here is the one from this year. Addie didn't want to participate until after everyone else had discarded the candy corns.

Sand Hollow

Last weekend Andrew took Addie and his two nephews, Zen and Kai, camping at Sand Hollow. Addie had the time of her life being outside and playing with the boys. She had fun playing all the big kid games-throwing rocks at sticks, throwing trash in the fire, card games, etc.The next morning they decided it would be fun to play in the water, I guess I should have packed Addie's swimsuit, but I thought the water would be too cold. What was I thinking? The temperature of the water has never stopped Addie before!

Grand Canyon

We took a day trip to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon the other day and it was so nice. The leaves were changing and the weather was cool. Addie loved running around with Andrew, I opted to take Izze and hide out in the lodge so I didn't have to watch Addie by the edge-she has no fear.
